Description of the project „Learning Locally“

The project „Learning Locally“ is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. More details on  http://www.lernen-vor-ort.info.

In the project in the Rems-Murr-District IRIS e.V. is working in two topics:

• Study on the situation of vocational training in the Rems-Murr-District. It examines, among other things, the structure of offers for vocational training
• Study on non-formal education with volunteers in the associational youth work. The aim is to explore the forms of non-formal education and to describe their effects more accurately.

The results, in form of two reports, should be useful for example for the training of volunteers. Both parts of the project are running from 2010 to mid-2012. More information about the project: Lernwelt Rems-Murr.
