Das Projekt Lernen vor Ort hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die Bildungslandschaft des Rems-Murr-Kreises transparent darzustellen, Verantwortungsbereiche zu klären, Angebote und Bildungseinrichtungen zu erfassen, aufeinander abzustimmen, zu vernetzen und leichter zugänglich zu machen. IRIS e.V. beschäftigte sich in diesem Zusammenhang mit zwei Teilbereichen der Bildungslandschaft im Rems-Murr-Kreis. Diese sind zum einen die non-formalen und informellen Bildungsangebote in der spezifischen Struktur der verbandlichen Jugendarbeit und zum anderen die Strukturen und Angebote der beruflichen Weiterbildung im Rems-Murr-Kreis. Projekthintergrund Ein Leonardo-Innovations-Transfer-Projekt soll innovative Erkenntnisse aus einem Land in andere transferieren. Das Projekt TTV (Tools of the Trade for Teaching in VET) greift insbesondere Erfahrungen auf, die IRIS e.V. in den letzten Jahren in der Kooperation mit der Handwerkskammer Freiburg und mit einer Reihe von KMUs gemacht hat.

Background of the project The subject of the project is the teaching practice of trainers in VET (vocational and educational training). The teaching practice of trainers is a strategically important issue for the quality of output and outcome in VET. Die Integrationsoffensive Baden-Württemberg ist das Förderprogramm für Projekte der offenen, verbandlichen und kulturellen Kinder- und Jugendarbeit und Jugendsozialarbeit zur Integration von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit Migrationshintergrund in Baden-Württemberg. Mit dem vorhandenen Geld werden Träger bei der Planung und Umsetzung ihrer Integrationsprojekte fachlich beraten und finanziell unterstützt.

IRIS ist von der Koordinierungsstelle Regionales Übergangsmanagement der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart beauftragt mit der Erstellung einer Handreichung zur „Zusammenarbeit mit Eltern in der Berufsorientierung“  sowie der Durchführung mehrmoduliger Fortbildungsangebote für Lehrkräfte, Schulsozialarbeiter/innen und muttersprachliche Schlüsselpersonen zur Arbeit mit der Stuttgarter Handreichung im Auftrag des Staatlichen Schulamts Stuttgart.

Evaluation of the project "Ağabey-Abla"

The mentoring prorgramme „Ağabey-Abla“ is run by Deutsch-türkisches Forum Stuttgart e.V.  and funded by the Robert Bosch Foundation. In this mentoring program about 70 Turkish mentors accompany Turkish students particularly with regard to academic issues, but also on leisure activities. The evaluation aims at finding out how students with an immigrant background can be encouraged in an innovative way, and how the social engagement of young adults with an immigrant background can be used for this.
