 „Youth as actors of social change“, in the series „youth research“ appeared in the publishing house „Juventa“. In the book edited by Axel Pohl, Barbara Stauber and Andreas Walther, results from national and international comparative studies on „Changed transition curves, structural barriers and coping strategies“ are presented. It takes up the topic of the European research project UP2YOUTH and deals with different thematic and methodological perspectives on the act of teenagers and young adults.

Der Band „Jugend als Akteurin sozialen Wandels“  ist in der Reihe „Jugendforschung“ im Juventa-Verlag erschienen. In dem von Axel Pohl, Barbara Stauber und Andreas Walther herausgegebenen Band werden Befunde aus national und international vergleichenden Untersuchungen zum Thema „Veränderte Übergangsverläufe, strukturelle Barrieren und Bewältigungsstrategien“ vorgestellt.

In der überbetrieblichen Ausbildung werden Auszubildenden aus Klein- und Mittelbetrieben des Handwerkes fachliche und theoretische Ausbildungsinhalte vermittelt, die die Betriebe „vor Ort“ z.B. auf Grund ihrer Betriebsgröße nicht anbieten können. Die Auszubildenden aus diesen Betrieben werden in der Regel in Wochenkursen zusammengefasst und in Bildungseinrichtungen des Handwerks gezielt so ausgebildet, dass sie am Ende ihrer Ausbildungszeit den geforderten Stoff der Gesellenprüfung in ihrem Beruf beherrschen.

The European research project “Governance of Educational Trajectories in Europe” (acronym: GOETE) seeks to add to the European knowledge-base on how educational trajectories are organised across European countries.
